Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how users can request deletion of their data from Postiz.
How to Request Data Deletion
If you wish to delete your account and all personal data associated with it, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Contact Us
Send an email to support@imatrix.tech with the following information:
- Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
- Your registered email address
- Your username or account identifier
- A clear statement that you request data deletion
Step 2: Verification
We will verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate. This may include:
- Email verification
- Confirmation of account details
Step 3: Data Deletion Process
Once your identity is verified, we will delete the following data within 30 days:
- Your account information
- All connected social media account tokens
- All scheduled posts and content
- Your usage data and analytics
- Any other personal data stored in our system
What Will Be Deleted
- Account profile and credentials
- OAuth tokens for connected social media platforms
- Scheduled posts and drafts
- Analytics data
- Notification preferences
Important Notes
Note: Deleting your data from Postiz will not delete content that has already been published to your social media accounts. You will need to manually remove those posts from the respective platforms if desired.
Post Deletion
After your data is deleted:
- Your account will be permanently closed
- You will no longer have access to Postiz
- Your OAuth authorizations to connected platforms will remain active until revoked on those platforms
